Description

Now that madwifi-old is ancient history, it is time to standardize madwifi as the kernel module name. This will involve several changes to the wiki and other documentation. This tickets serves the purpose of listing and tracking all of the changes made in this regard.

The first thing that comes to mind is the wiki. Pages like ngFeatures? and UserDocs/NewVsOld should clearly state that the distinction between madwifi-ng and madwifi-old is no longer needed.

Another thing to consider is to decide about removal of sections / pages which hold recipes for madwifi-old. We already stated that madwifi-old is no longer supported, which should also be reflected in the availability of documentation, IMO. As a side effect we would reduce the number of pages in the wiki and reduce the chance that people get confused by stumbling across pages that describe configuration steps which no longer work for -ng.
