Description

Hello together,

it seems to be that the autmatic recognition of the rate do not work perfectly. i have a orinoco 802.11a/b pcmcia adapter and the newest madwifi driver installed. it is a b/g access point. i can get an ip adress from the dhcp but thats all. if i set the rate from auto to 11m it works nice. tell me how to get more debug information or be contently with this. :)

I have a question in this area too. What's the difference between "Mixed" and "Auto" mode? Does madwifi support both of them? So far, I've noticed that D-Link, Netgear, and LinkSys? support "Mixed" but not "Auto".

What's the solution if I want to support "Mixed", meaning both b and g clients can access my AP at the same time but not losing the 11g speed?

Thank you.
