Kernel BUG; 2.6.13, madwifi-ng 2 January 2006 + wpa_supplicant-0.4.7

Description

Bug upon removal of TP-Link PCMCIA-card, running with madwifi-ng (source downloaded per 2 January 2006). I tried using madwifi-ng with wpa_supplicant-0.4.7. I had trouble connecting, so I opened wpa_cli and saw that I briefly connected to the network and then lost connection again, after which association timed out, wp_supplicant tried reassociating, and association timed out again. Then I decided to remove the card and got the bug below.

I don't know whether I should file this bug elsewhere (e.g., with wpa_supplicant), but I thought not as the bug appears to be in some madwifi-ng file. Please notify me if this is useless, I never filed a bug before.

I'm using Slackware 10.2 on an IBM Thinkpad A22m.

Regards,

PJ Beers
