Description

Hello,

I downloaded the madwifi driver, and extracted it into a folder on the desktop of my linux fedora13 distro. The kernel I used is: 2.6.34.7-56.fc13.i686.PAE I started with the command: make KERNELPATH=/usr/src/kernels/2.6.34.7-56.fc13.i686.PAE/ as root user. after that I got the next message:

[root@upc-stefan madwifi-0.9.4]# make KERNELPATH=/usr/src/kernels/2.6.34.7-56.fc13.i686.PAE/ ./kernelversion.c:13:30: error: linux/utsrelease.h: No such file or directory Checking requirements... ok. Checking kernel configuration... /bin/sh: -c: line 0: syntax error near unexpected token `|'

/bin/sh: -c: line 0: `echo char *uts_release = UTS_RELEASE; | grep -q -i '[2-9]\.[4-9]\.' { \' make: *** [configcheck] Error 1

Could you tell me what I miss/do wrong to get my artheros wifi adapter working?
