Description

A weird bug report, I know... please, read, I'm not drunk :) I found a strange bug while downloading by torrent: system freezes after 2-5 minutes since download's beginning! Using Jaunty 2.6.28-16 on x86 with backports enabled and ath_pci driver from SVN 22 Oct. 2009. I rebooted with the old kernel (2.6.28-11+backports, "original" madwifi drivers) and works fine, no freezing! I've tried different clients with different engines, so I think it's a kernel module problem. On the other hand, downloading by HTTP/FTP is ok even at high speed (500k+/sec). I'm using a TP-LINK WN551G PCI on a WPA wlan. Daniele

A false alarm... I'm sorry :( But I was pretty sure it was a driver bug :S
