Problem with ath0(STA with WEP key) + ath1(monitor) = Capture Errors

I'm using madwifi-ng r2568-20070710 on OpenWRT kernel 2.6.21.5 (mips); when I set: 

# wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode sta
# wlanconfig ath1 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode monitor
# iwconfig ath0 key s:AAAAAAAAAAAAA essid WLAN_01
# ifconfig ath0 up ; ifconfig ath1 up

All packets I capture through ath1 are corrupted, but if I don't set iwconfig ath0 key s:AAAAAAAAAAAAA, all works fine.
