Using fragmentation in ad-hoc mode crashes host when sending packets exceeding fragment size

Ubuntu kernel 2.6.24-19-generic on Core Duo

Dmesg:

Atheros HAL provided by OpenWrt, DD-WRT and MakSat Technologies
MadWifi: ath_attach: Switching rfkill capability off.
wifi0: Atheros AR5213A chip found (MAC 5.9, PHY 2112 4.3, Radio 3.6)
ath_pci: wifi0: Atheros 5212: mem=0x84000000, irq=18
wlanconfig ath0 destroy
wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode adhoc
ifconfig <ip addr> up
iwconfig ath0 channel 10 essid test
iwconfig ath0 rate 1M
ping <ip addr> (works)
iwconfig ath0 frag 256
ping <ip addr> (works)
ping -s 256 <ip addr>
BANG! (machine crashes immediately)

Please provide a stack trace of the kernel panic. You can obtain it using a serial console or the netconsole kernel module (see also DevDocs/KernelOops).

please test if the problem still occurs with the attached patch applied to madwifi.

Elektra, please confirm if the patch resolves your issue. I'd be really glad to commit it to SVN and close this ticket.
