Description

Sorry for my bad english.

I have an Asus x50n notebook with AR5007EG onboard. madwifi HAL an driver an allotherthingsfromthissite is up to date.

I'm doing all following this manual: http: //madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/FirstTimeHowTo

All of the steps are going right until I'm running this:

wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode sta

system's respond: wlanconfig: ioctl: No such device

cd /dev ls | grep ath0

says nothing.

Have anybody had deal with such problem?

P.S. I'll be very glad you to point on my grammatical mistakes in this post.
