Description

Debian lenny,

Linux laptop 2.6.22-2-686 #1 SMP Fri Aug 31 00:24:01 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

the wlan connection speed went down too approx 10kByte/sec, when changing to battery mode. I disabled laptop-mode and had no power management turned on I know off.

The speed went up to full speed (600kByte/sec on my dsl) during mouse movement (probably interrupts)!

Everything works fine since I disabled tickles mode on the dernel command line: nohz=off

madwifi 0.9.2

from debian lenny

It seems to be a kernel problem. It is only present, if the C3 modes on my Pentium M 440 laptop is possible. I disabled it using max_cstate (which is not availible anymore for 2.6.24 with CPU_IDLE support).
