Description

After a cold reboot the interface ath0 is created, but the connection is broken. Using Opensuse 10.3 and AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01). This problem occurs both with the network manager and with the traditional method with ifup.

After unloading the module ath_pci and loading the module the network works fine (ifup method). No wireless connection is accomplished with the network manager.

In the kernel log appears the message

ath_hal: module license 'Proprietary' taints kernel.
ath_hal: 0.9.18.0 (AR5210, AR5211, AR5212, RF5111, RF5112, RF2413, RF5413)

ath_rate_sample: 1.2 (0.9.3.2)
ath0: no IPv6 routers present

ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): ath0: link is not ready
