Description

I am using a Linksys WMP300N (Chipset: AR5416,id: 168c:0023) with Madwifi in Backtrack2 final. I have found out that other WLAN cards with the same chipset and id as mentioned above have been working with Madwifi, however it aint working for me. I am not sure which version of Madwifi used but I assume it is not newer than 070306, the date when Backtrack2 Final was released.

I wonder if the card even is supposed to work with Madwifi, and if it does which version is needed?

Best Regards // Björn Björkman

I've tested madwifi-0.9.3.2 with linksys wmp300N v2 and found its not supported. ndiswrapper-1.48 works on fedora core 7 using the windows driver but the link speed is only 11Mbit.

Please note the Linksys driver has poor peak data rate compared to the Belkin driver when running under ndiswrapper-1.48
