Oops on module load - sysfs_create_group

I've built the module from the svn revision 2650 and did "make install" after uninstalling all the previous madwifi versions. Loading it results in a kernel crash, here is the syslog output:

The machine is HP nw8000 notebook which has AR5212-based card. The system itself is pretty standard, using the latest Dapper updates. Please let me know if you need any further information.
