What chipset does the LS5 use?

The shield is soldered on, so direct examination of the chip is not possible.

Looks like 2313 WiSoC.

  • priority changed from major to minor.
  • type changed from defect to enhancement.
  • summary changed from madwifi does not recognise Ubiquiti LS5 to Hardware Support: WiSoC 2313.

Looks like you're using the Ubiquiti SDK there. Would you confirm with trunk?

08/11/07 20:04:07 changed by chip@innovates.com

No, I used the Ubiquiti SDK to find the chipset ID. OpenWRT uses trunk and that is where the failure happens:

Dec 31 18:00:22 OpenWrt user.err kernel: MadWifi: unable to attach hardware: 'Hardware revision not supported' (HAL status 13)
